Who is behind this site
husky-tromso.com is run by Patrick Kühne, an independent travel publisher based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, Germany. He builds and maintains a small portfolio of guides to attraction tickets and day tours. There is no agency and no rotating editorial team behind this site: the pages are researched, written and kept up to date by one person — the same one who answers the e-mails.
What this site does
Husky sledding in Tromsø comes in more shapes than most visitors expect: driving your own team or riding as a passenger, morning daylight or polar-night afternoon, camps 20 minutes from the city or a snow-sure inland valley about 95 minutes away by bus, sled rides or a quiet evening at the kennel. We describe what actually separates the tours — including the things operators mention less loudly, like the fact that the actual sledding time ranges from roughly 15 minutes to 70–80 depending on the tour. Then we show live prices so the choice can be made in one place. We are not a booking agent — every reservation happens on the booking platform.
How we earn money
When you book through one of our links, the provider pays us a commission. Your price stays exactly the same: the commission comes out of the provider's margin, not your pocket. No contract obliges us to favour a particular operator, and our comparisons are ordered by what suits the trip, not by what pays us best.
Where our data comes from
